Dr. Kasisomayajula “Vish” Viswanath, Lee Kum Kee Professor of Health Communication, was recently featured in “To combat Covid, look where it strikes, says Harvard expert” in The Economic Times.
“We are learning that there are other characteristics like those who are poor…[and] people of color who are susceptible to the [coronavirus] disease,” says Dr. Viswanath in the article. “It is becoming clearer [that] it is not just older people who are vulnerable to the disease…but there are these other conditions that amplify the impact of Covid-19.”
