Socially integrated women at lower risk for suicide

female friendsAlexander Tsai and Ichiro Kawachi have just published a paper in JAMA looking at the association between social integration and suicide among women in the United States. Tsai spoke to Reuters Health about this research, pointing out that factors beside mental illness contribute to suicidality in women.
