Reiko’s Farewell Party (June 4, 2019)

Thanks a lot for all Dr. Reiko Nishihara’s great work.  We are very proud of her success in leading science and bringing new approaches to our fields.  We wish her the best of luck in her new role!!

    

      

      

Lab Party (June 16, 2018)

On a nice early-summer day (Jun 16th, 2018), we had an MPE Lab party, hosted by Jonathan A. Nowak’s family (much appreciated).  We enjoyed traditional american style BBQ and homemade dishes in the fancy yard!!

Alumni Party (June 1, 2018)

​On the last day of the 4th International MPE Meeting (June 1st, 2018), we had the first ever MPE Lab alumni party.  Many previous and current lab members celebrated the great success of this multidisciplinary meeting!

Lab Party (June 10, 2017)

On a nice early-summer day (Jun 10th, 2017), we had an MPE Lab party, hosted by Jonathan A. Nowak’s family (much appreciated).  We enjoyed barbecue and celebrated a number of accomplishments from the first half of 2017 !

Lab Events

We have weekly lab meetings, monthly Colorectal Cancer Omics Meeting, bi-monthly MPE Working Group Meeting / Call, and other events and meetings as needed.

Weekly Lab Meeting is usually held on every Monday (or Wednesday if not Monday) at D1130 of DFCI, from 4:05pm to 5pm (conference call line available).  Several other principal and independent investigators join.

Colorectal Cancer Omics Meeting is held monthly, organized by myself and Marios Giannakis.

Bi-monthly MPE Working Group Meeting/Call is usually held on 3rd Wed of odd month, at D1130 of DFCI, from 2:05pm to 3pm.

Pancreatic Cancer Group Meeting and Hale Center Meeting (both organized by Brian Wolpin) are regularly held.

Besides, the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) Meeting and the Nurses’ Health Study II (NHS2) Meeting is held on Thursday 9:15am to 11am at Channing Division of Network Medicine 5F Conference Room, alternating every other week.  The Health Professionals Follow-up Study (HPFS) Meeting is held on Thursday (every 2-3 weeks) 3-5pm at Kresge 907, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
