Congratulations to Assistant Professor of Biostatistics Rachel Nethery who has received funding from the Harvard Data Science Initiative Competitive Research Fund. Each year the HDSI fund provides targeted seed and bridge funding to Harvard faculty who propose novel methods, innovations, or solutions to data science challenges.
Dr. Nethery has received funding for her project on “Refining pre-disaster strategic preparedness: A machine learning model for identification of communities facing the highest health risks from an impending tropical cyclone.”
