C-CHANGE In Your Skills: Understanding the Fundamental of the Live Interview

The Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Harvard C-CHANGE) is hosting a series of skills-based workshops to help equip T.H. Chan students with skills needed to be effective leaders and agents of change. These workshops are focused on building practical skills in communications, policy, and leadership and will help you be effective in communicating your ideas, making the case for action, and engaging others in achieving shared goals.Each workshop is a stand-alone, 1.5 hour course with capped attendance to allow for experiential learning opportunities and dialogue between students and faculty.In this workshop, students will be introduced to basic strategies for being interviewed by the press. It will include reviewing the theory and practice of public health communication, sharing media experiences to date and critiquing examples of communication with the press.
