Eve is a second-year SM2 in Epidemiology. She is particularly interested in infectious disease, having studied Virology and worked at the UN in biological weapon disarmament before coming to the Harvard Chan School. As an SM2 Program Assistant, she hopes to become even more involved in the wonderful student community, organizing a variety of academic and social events to make the student experience here as enriching as possible!
Phuong Anh is a second-year SM2 Epidemiology student, concentrating in Cancer Epidemiology and Cancer Prevention. Before joining Harvard, Phuong Anh graduated from Brandeis University with a B.S. in Biology and worked as a Project Coordinator at the World Health Organization in Viet Nam. Her research interests focus on the relationships between lifestyle factors and cancer, as well as biomarkers related to cancer. Besides her role as a Program Assistant, Phuong Anh works as a Research Assistant with Dr. Heather Eliassen on several projects and as a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Epidemiology. In her free time, Phuong Anh enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, and spending time with her friends and her pets.
LeeAnn is a second-year master’s student in the Department of Epidemiology concentrating in cancer epidemiology. Her research focuses on sex differences in the relationship between obesity and cancer. She is also interested in environmental epidemiology and is part of the Harvard Education and Research Center. Before coming to The School, she obtained a BSPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent a year as a research fellow at the CDC.
