Engagement between students and faculty members, both formal and informal, is one of the most important factors in ensuring that students enjoy a positive academic experience. Students are encouraged to nominate an individual who has enriched their academic, professional, or personal development at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health through guidance, support, collegiality, and overall mentorship.
Eligibility
Nominee must be an academic advisor; any full-time, part-time, or adjunct faculty member; or another academic appointee (e.g. research scientist or instructor)
Nomination
Any Harvard Chan student may submit a nomination through this form based on the eligibility above.
Nominations should be no more than 300 words and describe why you are nominating this person. Please include specific examples of how the nominee has enriched your experience at Harvard Chan.
Nominations must be submitted by 5pm on Monday, April 29th, 2024.
Selection
A Committee, comprised of representatives from the Office for Education, Committee on Educational Policy, and Committee on Admissions and Degrees, selects the Mentoring Award winner(s). The committee’s recommendation is based on a review of submitted nominations with an eye towards the quality of engagement, support of professional growth, and other actions taken on behalf of the student.
Recipients of the Mentoring Award will be announced during our graduation award ceremony.
