Dr. Karestan C. Koenen, Professor of Psychiatric Epidemiology, has been recently featured in “Feeling more anxious and stressed? You’re not alone” written by Alvin Powell from The Harvard Gazette.
In the article, Dr. Koenen speaks about the worldwide rise of mental health issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her concerns include anxiety, depression after bereavement, and trauma as a result of discrimination particularly against Asian Americans.
