Biostatistics Student Consulting Center

Please visit the BSCC website for more information!

Doctoral student Emily Slade received a grant from the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching to create the Biostatistics Student Consulting Center (BSCC). The BSCC is a free student-to-student statistical consulting service staffed by 19 doctoral students across four years of the program, with training provided by Professor Michael Hughes. The center is open to all students in the T.H. Chan School of Public Health for any statistical inquiries outside of the classroom. Students access the BSCC through walk-in office hours twice per week or by submitting an online inquiry.

Since opening on November 28, the BSCC student consultants have already tackled over 20 cases and received widespread positive feedback from the School of Public Health community. This center provides a much-needed statistical help service to School of Public Health students as well as creating a fantastic opportunity for Department of Biostatistics students to gain important consulting skills.

Visit the BSCC website for office hours, online inquiries, and other FAQs.
