Wireless Access

Supported with Harvard Wifi, eduroam

The Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health has deployed wireless access points to all floors and buildings. Wireless connectivity is available to Harvard staff, faculty, students, alumni, invited guests, and campus visitors.

For members of the Harvard Community

As a member of the Harvard community, you should have a HarvardKey username and password.  You will need this credential for any of the connection options detailed below.

Harvard has made several wireless options available to our community. They are “Harvard Secure,” “eduroam,” or “Harvard University.”  “Harvard Secure” is the preferred connection for those with a Harvard Key or guest credentials. The “eduroam” network is a secure, worldwide roaming option for the research and education community. Harvard Key holders may access “eduroam” wireless networks at participating educational and research institutions worldwide. “Harvard University” is an unprotected network for visitors without credentials.

This access method utilizes the industry’s latest encryption and authentication standards to provide a secure wireless connection using your HarvardKey. This connection method is preferred and recommended for all personnel and students who deal with sensitive or secure information.
