Nick Martel is the Technical Manager of the Harvard Chan Studio. He supervises and directs the programming produced both in the studio as well as other video productions around the HSPH campus.
After graduating from Boston College in 2008 with a double major in Film Studies and History, Nick worked in public and government television producing, filming, and editing documentary pieces to create public awareness of local, social, and political issues. In 2014, he returned to Boston College to run the Video Services department where he previously discovered his passion for video storytelling when he was a student worker there. He oversaw the academic events and creative video production for BC before arriving at HSPH in the fall of 2022.
In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and catching up on his video game queue.
