Teaching assistants play a critical role in the educational efforts of the department. Outstanding TAs who exceed our expectations are recognized with a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching. Before nominating TAs for this honor, instructors review student evaluations of the TA from school-wide course evaluations and factor their overall effort and enthusiasm during the semester.
