This Thursday the Department will launch a Writing Workshop series led by staff members Amanda King and Nicole Levesque. The workshop will meet once a month with the goal of helping students build writing skills for academic and professional contexts. Each meeting will focus on a particular skill, and will include exercises, as well as time for discussion of individual work. Particular emphasis will be placed on creating a solid structure for communicating ideas, building sound editing skills, and developing clarity and economy in written work.
Meetings will be held on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm
