HDSI/Elsevier Community Networking Event

November 6th
4:00-5:30 PM
The Cabot Science Library, 1 Oxford St, Cambridge

The Harvard Data Science Initiative is pleased to announce a networking reception with data scientists from Elsevier on November 6, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Cabot Science Library.

In addition to promoting networking amongst our own community, the event will facilitate conversations with data scientists at Elsevier around fundamental data science challenges (both basic and applied). Elsevier wants to learn about data science related research that Harvard faculty are working on that would benefit from collaboration and support.

The networking reception will follow more focused roundtable discussions that the DSI is convening on the topics of “Key Factors for Scientific Impact on Policy”, “Interpretable Models for Precision Medicine”, and “Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health Care”.

Please join us for wine and hors d’oeuvres.
