Two biostats students won awards during ENAR last week in Atlanta. Danilo Alivares received a distinguished student poster award for “A Sequential Approach to Bayesian Joint Modeling of Longitudinal and Survival Data” and David Cheng received a distinguished student paper award for “Efficient and Robust Semi-Supervised Estimation of Average Treatment Effects in Electronic Medical Records Data”
Postdoc Himel Malick received one of 2018 IMS New Researcher Travel Awards, and will be using his funds to present his work at JSM in Vancouver this summer.
