The Harvard Data Science Initiative is excited to announce a new Data Science in Industry seminar series. These seminars will be held on a monthly basis, featuring invited speakers from a broad range of sectors to talk about the role data science plays at their organization, the methodologies they have developed and applied, and their personal experiences working as data scientists.
The first speakers of the series will be Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg, senior researchers and co-leads of the People + AI Research initiative at Google. Fernanda and Martin will talk about their pioneering work on machine learning and visualisation, and the day-to-day life of working at Google.
