Department alumna Yu Guo, PhD ’06, has led the effort to create a comprehensive, real-time COVID-19 tracking resource for the US and Canada. The site has had over 100 millions visitors and aims to bring more transparency to the public while increasing awareness about this global pandemic.
Dr. Guo is originally from Wuhan, China and is currently the Head of Machine Learning Platform for Autonomous Vehicles at Uber ATG.
