Summer Program external advisory board member and department alumna Melody Goodman, PhD ’06, contributes to a recent Self video on “The Unequal Burden of Asthma – how race, environment, and health care access are contributing to a public health crisis.” Dr. Goodman, who’s work focuses on racial and socio-economic health disparities across diseases, is currently Associate Dean for Research and Associate Professor of Biostatistics at NYU’s School of Global Public Health.
