Xihong Lin Named 2021 Mosteller Statistician of the Year

Congratulations to Professor Xihong Lin who has been named the 2021 Mosteller Statistician of the Year! The award is in recognition of her pioneering work on statistical methods for the analysis of massive genomic, epidemiological, and health data, and of her leadership and major contributions to the statistics community locally, nationally, and internationally. Former chairs Nan Laird and Louise Ryan, and Professor Sharon-Lise Normand have all been past recipients of the award in 1996, 2004, and 2018 respectively.

Dr. Lin will give a presentation via Zoom on March 10th on “Learning from COVID-19 Data on Transmission, Health Outcomes, Interventions and Vaccination”.  See website to register.
