via the Office of Diversity & Inclusion:
Last week marked the beginning of National LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated nationally from September 15 to October 15 each year. This is a time for the Harvard Chan community to honor the identities, histories, and cultures of the Latinx/o/a community and their contributions to public health. We encourage all members of our community to participate in Latinx Heritage Month events across the University and to continue their own learning and understanding of Latinx cultures, identity, and relevant issues, both in public health and at Harvard.
