Jenny Lee receives Burke Climate and Health Fellowship!

Jenny LeeCongratulations to alumna and postdoc Jenny Lee, PhD ’22, who has been granted a Burke Climate and Health Fellowship, for her project to ‘Develop a causal inference method to assess the health impacts of long-term exposure to air pollution on low-income children in the US Medicaid program’. The fellowship is provided by Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) and the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability and includes a salary for two years.  As a Burke Climate and Health Fellow, Dr. Lee will work with Professors Rachel Nethery and Francesca Dominici to study the adverse health effects of air pollution on socioeconomically disadvantaged children in the U.S and examine the impact of Medicaid eligibility thresholds on health outcomes.
