The Harvard Chan Bioinformatics Core is pleased to announce the next session of the Harvard Chan Bioinformatics Core’s (HBC) Current Topics in Bioinformatics 2023 series – Publication perfect I. This free, hands-on workshop is available to all Harvard affiliates. The workshop is part of our series which covers a variety of bioinformatics topics & related skills.
Publication Perfect I: One of the biggest challenges in disseminating your research is visualizing the results in a way that is meaningful, easy to interpret and aesthetically pleasing. In this hands-on workshop, we introduce an efficient and reproducible workflow in R for creating publication-ready figures. We will introduce ggplot2 syntax to create custom plots, and we will explore how to determine the type of plots most appropriate for your data.
