Stephanie is an internal medicine physician and MPH candidate in Clinical Effectiveness within the Department of Epidemiology. Her interests are in healthcare systems delivery improvement in resource-denied settings, health equity, and graduate medical education. Mai-Han Trinh

Rose Service Learning Fellow

Mai-Han is a third-year doctoral student in neuropsychiatric epidemiology. Mai-Han’s research interests focus on LGBTQ mental health and particularly health equity for transgender populations. Mai-Han’s project focuses on supporting mental health for trans populations through community-engaged research. Mai-Han will work with a community advisory board to conduct a dissertation on structural stigma and mental healthcare.

Alyssa Van Groningen

Alyssa Van Groningen is passionate about partnering with communities to address health inequities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, particularly with regard to the intersections between substance use, chronic disease, and the social determinants of health. Daniel Viana

Daniel Viana is a fisheries scientist working at the intersection of marine conservation and public health. He is currently a postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health examining the global implications of marine protected area expansion for human health and nutrition. Daniel’s project focuses on developing local capacity to tackle overfishing and malnutrition problems in Southwest Madagascar.
