JSM Biometrics Travel Award Winner

Caleb Miles (PhD ’15) has been selected as one of the winners of the ASA Biometrics Section Travel Award for JSM for his paper A Class of Semiparametric Tests of Treatment Effect Robust to Measurement Error of a Confounder

In his paper with Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen, they apply their method to an environmental health data set to test for the effect of temperature on mortality while controlling for pollution, which is often suspected to be measured with error.

As a winner, Caleb will present his work at the 2016 JSM in Chicago.

Congratulations Caleb!
