Congratulations to alumnus Nick Horton (ScD ’99), Professor of Statistics at Amherst College, for being selected as the new Chair of the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies (COPSS). COPSS recently released a statement on their website stating that “on behalf of all COPSS members, we thank him for agreeing to take on this role, and look forward to his active engagement and leadership.”
Nick will serve in his position through December 2018.
