Meet-Up Group: Boston R/Bioconductor for Genomics

Aedin Culhane, Joe Paulson and Vince Carey have recently established a meet-up group Boston R/Bioconductor for Genomics. They invite everyone to join the new meet-up group which they hope will provide a forum for networking and support for R and Bioconductor novices, users, and developers within the Longwood Medical Area and the greater Boston region.

The first meet-up will be hosted on:
September 6, 2016 at 5pm
Dana-Farber Yawkey Building
Room 306/307
Refreshments will be provided

Rafa Irizarry will present the keynote talk for 30-45 minutes followed by a number of lightening talks from the community whose length will be determined by the number of folks interested in presenting. After the lightening talks there will be a discussion on logistics for future meet-ups.

If you like to present a lightening talk, announce a package or workflow available on Bioconductor, please email Joe Paulson with a brief overview of what you would like to present.

Following the meet-up, all are invited to The Squealing Pig.

For any further questions please contact Aedin Culhane.
