Applying for Your Own Funding: The NIH F31 and NSF Fellowships
Speakers: Sheila Gaynor & Jessica Gronsbell
The NIH F31 and NSF fellowships support doctoral students in performing their dissertation research in a scientific-related field. They provide tuition and stipend funding on the individual level. In this talk, we will provide an overview of both fellowships, discuss our own experiences with the application process and the benefits of outside fellowships. First, second, and third year students are encouraged to attend.
