Doctoral Student Xihao Li won the Robert Balentine Reed Prize for Excellence in Biostatistical Science! The prize is awarded each year to the student(s) receiving the highest grade on the Department’s written qualifying exam.
Associate Professor Sebastien Haneuse received a Mentoring Award! The award is given to faculty members who have enriched students’ academic, professional or personal development through guidance, support, collegiality, and overall mentorship. Winners are nominated by students.
Doctoral Students Emily Slade & Thomas Madsen received Teaching Assistant Awards! Students vote to award those who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, as characterized by commitment, preparation, quality of presentation, time for questions, and other factors related to instruction.
