Professor of Applied Statistics Rafael Irizarry will become the new Chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, effective February 1, 2018. Rafa will succeed Giovanni Parmigiani, who has served in the role since 2009.
