Doctoral student Xiao Wu has been named a winner of a 2019 Student Paper Award, from the ASA Section on Statistics and the Environment, for a paper entitled “Matching on Generalized Propensity Scores with Continuous Exposures.” The paper was coauthored with Fabrizia Mealli, Marianthi-Anna Kioumourtzoglou, Danielle Braun, and his advisor, Francesca Dominici.”
Doctoral student Shirley Liao has been named a winner of a 2019 Student Paper Award, from the ASA Section on Health Policy Statistics, for a paper entitled “Posterior Predictive Treatment Assignment Methods for Causal Inference in the Context of Time-Varying Treatments.” The paper was coauthored with her advisor, Cory Zigler.
Doctoral student Leah Comment has been named a winner of a 2019 Student Paper Award, from the ASA Section on Bayesian Statistical Science, for a paper entitled “Time-varying survivor average causal effects with semicompeting risks.” The paper was coauthored with Fabrizia Mealli and her advisor, Cory Zigler.
