The Department welcomed the 2019 cohort of the Summer Program in Biostatistics and Computational Biology this morning! Twelve undergraduate students and 2 postbac interns will spend the next 6 weeks learning about the use of quantitative methods for biological, environmental, and medical research alongside Harvard faculty and graduate student mentors. Working on a variety of research projects over the course of the program, students will present their work at “Pipelines Into Biostatistics”, the culminating symposium on July 18th.
