The Harvard Data Science Initiative is pleased to announce the dates of its second Annual Conference, to take place on October 23, 24, and 25, 2019 in Cambridge, MA. The conference showcases data science in research and education through panels, keynotes, workshops, and tutorials featuring speakers from across Harvard, academia, and industry.
The Conference connects expert methodologists, data science professionals and educators across disciplines to ignite new discoveries with impacts on health, education, economics, social policy, business and the humanities.
The first day of the HDSI conference will feature plenary sessions and panels that discuss methodological advances and explore how data science connects with evidence-based policy, the urban environment, scientific discovery, and business.
The second day of the conference offers participants the opportunity to attend in-depth tutorials led by leading faculty and researchers on Causal Inference and Unsupervised Deep Learning.
The final day of the conference is dedicated to the Harvard Data Science Review and will bring together leading thinkers around questions related to differential privacy for the 2020 Census, redistricting (aka, Gerrymandering), and data science education.
