HBC Current Topics in Bioinformatics: Spring 2021 schedule

HBC Spring ScheduleThe Harvard Bioinformatics Core (HBC) is excited to announce the Spring 2021 schedule for the Current Topics in Bioinformatics series.These free, hands-on workshops are available to all Harvard affiliates and cover a variety of bioinformatics topics & related skills. This semester we will focus on the R programming language and associated skills for data visualization and the presentation of results. All workshops are currently held remotely via Zoom.

Brief description of the January 27thworkshop – Introduction to RIn this brief introduction to the R programming environment, we will cover the basics of R and RStudio. We will explore basic R syntax and data structures, functions and packages, and the basics of data wrangling. The workshop on Jan. 27th does not require any prior programming knowledge, however the knowledge from this workshop is a prerequisite for all other topics in the Spring 2021 series.
