Congratulations to doctoral student Christina Howe and postdoctoral fellow Xiao Wu who have been awarded the Barry R. and Irene Tilenius Bloom Fellowship for 2019-2020! This fellowship provides financial support for students and/or postdoctoral fellows at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and recipients are selected on the basis of academic merit, leadership potential, and commitment to improving public health in fields and areas of the world in greatest need. Christina is currently developing methods to identify critical windows in environmental exposures, while Xiao is using causal inference methods to analyze spatio-temporal data for climate and health research.
