Alumna and Biostats senior research scientist Danielle Braun, PhD ’13 has been named the Director of Data Science for Environmental and Climate Health, in recognition of her contributions towards creating a fantastic community of > 60 students and post docs mostly at HSPH working in the area of data science, causal inference, air pollution and climate and health. Dr. Braun is also leading a team of data and software engineers to continue to build a large data platform, mentoring students, collaborating with principal investigators from Columbia, Yale, UT Austin, Colorado State, BU and others. We are so grateful for the work she is doing!
