A professor in Harvard’s Statistics Department is planning to host a Cambridge/Boston version of the Florence Nightingale Day event, a one-day event meant to expose local female middle and high schoolers to statistics and data science.Members of the Biostatistics Department are invited to join the planning committee. They are looking at Saturday October 22nd for the event and planning committee member responsibilities generally include attending weekly planning meetings, helping reach out to potential sponsors and speakers, helping construct activities, and supporting the activities on the day of the event.
