Briana Stephenson Awarded a K01 Grant

Briana StephensonCongratulations to Assistant Professor Briana Stephenson who’s K01 proposal received 5 years of funding from the NHLBI. The research, titled: “Statistical methods to understand changes in dietary patterns over time and cardiovascular disease risk among understudied populations”, will be mentored by Professor Francesca Dominici and Professor Sara Bleich of the department of Health Policy and Management. The objective of the study  is to develop statistical methods to identify the impact of temporal multivariate dietary exposures on cardiovascular disease risk factors for understudied subgroups (defined by race/ethnicity) and to identify population differences in temporal dietary exposure patterns for CVD risk through the integration of multiple study cohorts.
