The Information Technology department invites you to join us to celebrate National Cybersecurity Awareness Month with the Chan School, HMS, HSDM, and University Information Security teams.
The event will be held at Kresge Atrium on Wednesday October 30 from 11:30 – 1:30 and will include Halloween crafts, snacks and real-life demos.
You will be able to participate in simulations to disrupt systems, hack into laptops, and leverage vulnerabilities that threaten the Internet of Things. More importantly, you will learn how to stop these attacks before they happen.
Held every October, National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.
