The following are maintenance activities being conducted by Harvard University IT (HUIT). These activities are applied to systems serving the Harvard Chan School, but are not expected to have impact to users.
Email alias system maintenance
Start Time: Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, 17:00.
End Time: Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, 19:00.
Service Impact: On Tuesday Jan. 7 at 5pm HUIT will be patching and rebooting all mailhub servers. No impact to users is expected.
Event Description: Each server will be brought down, patched and rebooted. Mail relay services will be verified on each server before proceeding. Redundant servers will provide service while each server is patched.
LMA network maintenance
Start Time: Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, 20:00.
End Time: Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2020, 4:00.
Service Impact: The LMAnet will undergo routine maintenance on Tuesday, January 14th from 8PM until 4AM. No impact to users is expected.
As part of HUIT’s effort to provide 100 gigabit (Gb) network connectivity across the University to better support big data and research activities, HUIT is upgrading a router.
