The session introduced and explored basic concepts of digital accessibility and relevant university policies including the 2023 update to the Digital Accessibility Policy.

Learn how you and your department can create more inclusive and welcoming digital assets. This session was designed to address how anyone can consider digital accessibility as they purchase, develop or publish electronic content.

Topics included how best to create accessible content – whether in a document, website, email, or other digital platform. We also discussed best practices for accessible meetings and data visualizations, and reviewed the new purchasing guidelines with third-party vendors.
