Harvard University’s Secure File Transfer Service, powered by Accellion Kiteworks, will be unavailable due to maintenance during the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, February 21, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Eastern time.
Impacts to users:
- The Accellion Kiteworks service will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

Additionally, Microsoft Office Message Encryption service (OME) is an alternative solution to send encrypted emails and files up to 150MBs in size. This service is available to all M365 email users, and is appropriate for sending Level 4 data and below. To get started with OME, review the Send an Encrypted Email in Outlook knowledge article.
