PhD candidate Octavious Talbot traveled to Akron, OH earlier this month to attend the annual Black Male Summit, a national platform for best practices and innovative strategies focusing on cradle-to-career success for African-American males. At the summit, he spoke about his experiences in the department and StatStart. In addition to sharing information about our PhD and masters programs, he spread awareness of the Summer Program in Biostatistics and Computational Biology.
