Harvard Chan Student Government (recently renamed Harvard Chan Student Association – HCSA) is the centralized student organization that acts on behalf of all the students of Harvard Chan in matters concerning their education and welfare. Its members are elected representatives from each department or program that meet regularly to discuss issues and plan activities related to student life. The committee works with faculty and administration on school-wide issues, sponsors seminars and other education-related events, and plans social activities which include I-Night and the Winter Ball.
Elections were held September 13 – 14, and two of our students were elected to the Student Government this year!
Abhinav Reddy, SM in Computational Biology and Quantitative Genetics, is in his second year at Harvard Chan, and was elected to the position of Vice-President of Academic Affairs. Xinrui Cao, a first year student in our SM60 BIO degree program, has been elected as the representative for Master of Science, 42.5 and 60 credits degree programs.
Congratulations to Abhinav and Xinrui!
