A notice from HUIT Collaboration Services
Beginning Thursday, February 27, the standard interface for enabling email auto-forwarding in Office 365 will no longer be available for newly created non-student accounts and will be removed from existing mailboxes where no forwarding is currently set. In order to auto-forward after this change, accounts will need to be set up with inbox rules.

Later in 2020
• The mailbox forwarding settings will be removed for mailboxes that are currently forwarding with a copy retained in Harvard-provided email.
• The mailbox forwarding settings will also be removed for mailboxes that are forwarding without a copy retained in the Harvard-provided email and keep a copy will be enabled.
• Targeted Communications will be sent to impacted users prior to any changes.
