New staff addition: Harry Schrecengost

We are pleased to welcome Harry Schrecengost to the Department of Information Technology as a user support specialist.  Harry replaces Tien Dao, who was promoted to senior user support specialist.

Harry earned a master of science degree in technology management from the University of Maryland and is an Apple Certified Mac Technician and a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).

Harry is a recent transplant to Boston from Maryland, where he worked at the University of Maryland for 10 years in the Division of IT on the Classroom Technology Team as an audio/visual specialist. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at the National Institutes of Health in various IT roles.

In his free time, Harry is looking forward to starting to snowboarding again now that he is closer to the mountains. He also plays with music technology, slowly learning and relearning things like mixing, editing, synthesis, and flipping samples.

Fun fact: At an earlier point in his life, Harry DJ’d dance music venues in Washington DC and Baltimore, but he will not ask if you have heard his latest mixtape!

Please join us in welcoming Harry to the community!
