We are pleased to welcome Senior Instructional Technologist Pete Viccione to the Digital Learning Team, part of the Media and Educational Technology Services (METS) team. Pete replaces Erin Provensal who left Harvard for an opportunity at Northeastern University.
Pete joins us after more than 12 years at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. Most recently, he served as an Instructional Technologist for their College of Online Education where he helped faculty find creative and engaging ways to bring traditional courses to the online environment. Pete has found it particularly rewarding to help non-traditional students be successful.
Pete is also a graduate of Johnson & Wales, where he earned a BS in Finance followed by an MBA. He currently teaches an introduction to business course online.
Interesting fact: Pete studied baking and pastry professionally, and enjoys baking for family and friends (and coworkers). His chocolate cake recipe is usually a big hit.
