Priority Enrollment Waves

Some HSPH courses use a system of priority enrollment to reserve seats for students in specific academic programs at the beginning of the enrollment period.

During these periods, referred to as ‘waves,’ enrollment will only be open to students in certain programs. Wave 3 is always ‘open enrollment,’ whereupon the course is open to any HSPH degree student.

If a class has priority waves, the academic programs and dates will be detailed in the course description.

If a student does not meet the criteria for Wave 1 or Wave 2, they can add themselves to the waitlist at any time during the enrollment period.  At the beginning of each wave, students on the waitlist who meet the criteria will be automatically enrolled into any remaining seats in the course.
