Degree students at HSPH can petition to transfer up to 20 credits of completed coursework towards academic degree requirements. The courses completed must meet the following conditions:
- Completed within 5 years of matriculation in the degree program
- Completed at HSPH. No other academic institutions are accepted including other Harvard schools
- Tuition was paid in full to HSPH
Transferring credits can potentially count towards both the academic and financial requirements of the degree. However depending on the amount of prior coursework completed, it may not always guarantee a lower cost of degree. Therefore students should carefully consider enrollment options (full-time, part-time, summer enrollment) over the course of their program.
Students wishing to transfer credits can submit the Non-Degree Credit Transfer form to the Registrar
